San Francisco Ca Vice President, Wells Fargo myspace.com/heavypetty "In his spare time, Eric travels the globe with the greatest band in the world, U2, tuning guitars for The Edge. He is currently on simultaneous quests to find not only the best burrito but also the best Dirty Martini in the world. Although rumored to have had romantic ties to Kate Beckinsale, Claire Forlani, and Kiera Knightley, he is currently happily single in one of the most amazing cities in the world, San Francisco." What have I been doing in the last year? Wait, what? It's been 20 years? Scary! Well, I noticed that not many people have filled this section out, so I figured I'd throw a few glimpses into my life in, just for laughs. Before I go any further, I know you looked at the picture first. Sad-my body doesn't feel 20 years older, but the face starting back at me in the mirror tends to. That's me and my guitar player, KC, after a New Years Eve gig in Santa Cruz. We had just played to a crazy sold out crowd at the Catalyst and were in good spirits. Yes, as a matter of fact, I am wearing a green, ruffled shirt. Why do you ask? So, after traveling around a bit for work, I settled down and do live in SF and work in the Financial District, a vibrant hub of this fantastic locale that stirs with stunning energy. I take full advantage of all that this city offers. I thoroughly love my life and cherish my friends and family, spending time with them whenever I can. I have a great dog, my happy-go-lucky Golden Retriever, and 3 cats (ouch, that sounds bad!) that take cash straight out of my wallet, but they do keep me warm on those foggy SF nights. I never made it to the Olympics, as was once an aspiration, but I still race bicycles, along with enjoying running, tennis, golf, surfing, and skiing. Although I long since put down the trombone, I kept up with music and picked up more sociable instruments, and now play guitar, bass, and sing backup in several bands, so the rock & roll alter ego takes over against the suit & tie a couple of times a month. That's about it. I am really anxious but also extremely excited to see everyone and hear about what they've been doing for the PAST 20 YEARS! I think it'll be a fun night. Until then...

Chico CA Writer / Editor Married Left the corporate jungle of newspapers after 16 years -- 12 years as a sports writer (including my senior year at CHS) and four as a copy editor. I taught for two years but was driven bananas by standards and bureaucracy that benefit politicians more than students. Now I work as a freelance copywriter, mostly writing direct mail (junk mail). No doubt you have received something I wrote if you live in the Chico area, whether it's for an air conditioner, a mortgage, a donation to a non-profit, or something else. Self-employment is less certain but has a whole lot less stress! Married my beautiful sweetheart Shanna in Jacksonville, Ore. (a little town outside Ashland and Medford) Feb. 19, 2005. Have truly been in a continual state of bliss ever since. Continued officiating high school basketball, just completing my 18th year overall. In fact, the "now" photo shows me working, ironically, a Chico-PV girls game in Chico's newly remodeled gym. If you haven't seen that place, get in there for a look -- you'll think you have the wrong building. Looks 100 times better than the dump we were stuck with all those years ago. After graduating from Chico State in 1992, I picked up my teaching credential, but realized I belong in front of a keyboard. It's in my blood, I suppose. Don't know if I'll be able to make it to the festivities in August, but I hope you are doing well and are happy! I am!
