I have been married to my prince charming for 13 years. We have 7 wonderful children. Some share our blood and others grew in our hearts. They are 3, 4, 6, 8 ,9 11 and 15 years old. My husband is a paramedic/firefighter and I work on a horse training and boarding farm. I love to spend time with my children, train and ride horses, read, cross stitch and train in martial arts.
A wild ride and I ain't done yet!

I am full-time everything! Mom, wife, trainer, administrator. I'm in charge of the online learning programs for the Information School at the UW yet try to make my kids think I'm really a mostly stay at home mom :-) Daily workouts and a lot of caffeine are my secrets.
I played basketball at Gonzaga University where I graduated with a degree in Broadcasting and Communications in 1991. After jumping right into TV Sports and News as a photojournalist during my senior year, I took all of 1992 to travel Europe and work for both the Winter (Albertville) and Summer (Barcelona) Olympics as well as some side work for the Barcelona Dragons taping video of their practice sessions and games. Europe was a tough experience to top, but I did a stint in Santa Barbara/Santa Maria, CA for a year as a photographer then headed back to Spokane for my final year in television. Met the man of my dreams in 1994, got hitched in January of 1996, headed to grad school at the UW in '99, finished my MLIS in 2001, began as faculty for the Information School at the UW the day after I graduated and have been at the UW ever since! I now have 2 beautiful girls, Shelby and Jordan - born in 2004 and 2006. We live in Bellevue, WA and I finally, after many years, seem to be adjusting to the gray :-)
