My wife and I practice medicine and started our own clinic. I work M,W,F and she works T, Th. That way one of us is at work taking care of patients and one of us is at home with our two kids. So I am a part time stay at home dad and I love it. Grant is five and will be starting elementary school at Parkview this year (my alma mater). Blair is two and adorable. Life summary for 1987-2022:Went to UC Santa Barbara and got a degree in Physiology and Cell Biology. My junior year I studied abroad in St Andrews Scotland and played a bit of golf there. After graduating I took a year off to travel around the world in an international singing and dancing troupe. Kissed Miss Finland (on the cheek). Then I buckled down again and attended Vanderbilt Medical School to get my MD. Met my wife there who was a Resident at the time (she had finished medical school). She taught me how to do my first spinal tap and it has been love ever since. While there I started a volunteer group to have college and medical students teach science to elementary school kids. It has since grown to be the largest volunteer organization at Vanderbilt. I also sang the National Anthem at an Atlanta Braves game (who would have guessed?). Did my Internship in Ventura California and lived on a 30 foot sailboat. Sold the boat and finished my residency in Family Practice in Portland Oregon at Oregon Health Science University. My wife and I looked for a town like Chico and when we couldn't find it we decided to move back here. We bought a house that used to be on my bus route to elementary school and set up shop. We have two kids, one dog, a goldfish, two goats, four sheep (have had as many as 20 sheep at one time), and a part time pony that we stable in the winter for a patient of mine that lives in the mountains. Life has been hectic and fun and I feel lucky to have the family that I do.

I am working as a radiology tech assistant until the first of august when I will be quiting to go back to school to become a tech. What have you be doing for the last 35 years (1987-2022)?:I finished school and am now a Technologist and am working for a small clinic dong X-rays and Mammograms. My kids have turned into amazing young people that I am very proud of. My daughter is a sophomore at Chico High this year and my son is working and being a productive member of society. Life summary for 1987-2022:I was married for 15 years and raising kids until one day I wasn't. So I went back to school, finish the prerecs. for tech scool and have been waiting for the year to start back to full time school.

I left my job of 9 years in February as Director of Revenue for a property management firm and I've never felt better! I'm currently working for Tahoe Mountain Club as HR and helping with accounting as needed, for the summer (current HR director is out on Maternity leave - those were the days!).
