I home school the 2 oldest which serves as a wonderful full-time job. For the past 2 years I have coached 7th grade girls volleyball in the fall. My husband, Dak, and I are Young Life leaders here in Colusa. Life summary for 1987-2022:After graduating from Chico State with a B.S. in Nutrition and Food Science I moved with my husband, Dak, to Colorado Springs and did a dietetic internship for a year to become a registered dietitian. Upon completion of that we moved back to Chico where I worked in community nutrition full-time and clinical nutrition part-time. After nearly 5 years of marriage we had our first child, and I quit my full-time job to stay at home. I continued to work part-time at a hospital until we moved to Colusa. Our move was prompted by my husband's teaching job as well as our involvement with Young Life. Leading YL in Colusa while living in Chico was not ideal or very effective. In 1999 we moved down here and have been here ever since. We continue to be very involved in Young Life as well as coaching.

I am a member of the United States Corps of Chaplains (http://www.uscochq.com) and also the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, Post 75, San Ramon Valley (http://www.vfw.org). - I enjoy camping, music, reading, and a hobby called geocaching (http://www.geocaching.com). Life summary for 1987-2022:- I served in the United States Navy from June 26, 1987 - July 25, 1993 as an enlisted Religious Program Specialist (RP). I served sea duty onboard USS Kiska (AE 35) from November 14, 1987 - July 10, 1991 and shore duty at Naval Air Station Alameda, Alameda, California from July 10, 1991 - July 25, 1993; and received an Honorable Discharge As Religious Program Specialist Petty Officer Third Class (RP3 / E-4). - Since leaving the military I have worked a variety of jobs but have been the longest at my current job. - I missed the 10-year reunion, but look forward to attending the 20-year reunion. - Blessings to you and your loved ones!
