City:La Crescenta Occupation:Transportation Planner Marital Status:Single Summarize your current situation (family, work, hobbies, etc.):Happily married with one son and working in the field of Transportation Planning for the past 22 years. I\'ve been with the City of San Luis Obispo, an East SF Bay suburban transit operator, San Diego MTS, and now with Los Angeles Metro. My hobbies consist of home improvements, playing with my son, urban design, and history. I\'ve also managed a sports message board for my alma mater, Cal Poly, but my interest has faded quite a bit. What have you be doing for the last 35 years (1987-2022)?:For work, I have been focused in project development of urban rail systems; light rail and subway systems. This is largely the planning and design of new systems, fleet management, and operationalizing completed projects. Life summary for 1987-2022:Like many, I went to college. I started out at Chico State but transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I received a BS in Urban Planning and a grad degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering with a concentration in Transportation Planning. While in school, and a bit afterwards, I worked as a barrista and bartender in downtown SLO. And honestly, doing both those jobs were life changing! I eventually moved on.... working with the City of SLO. I eventually wanted something bigger and better... left for the city... first the SF Bay Area, then San Diego, and now Los Angeles. Los Angeles is where I met my wife... both of them. Though the first did not work out well. The second one has in spades! We have been married since 2015 and have a 5yo (as of this writing in 2021).
