remember when the sprinklers went off at graduation!? Some of us used to gather and do bible study in the grass or an empty class during lunch hours. God blessed us then, made us aware, I wish I could have those days back, even if just for a lunch hour one Saturday. I used to follow one girl around, gosh she must have thought I was a stalker. I left her flowers, gifts, cards, and she finally told me she would never date me, but that was the best gift she ever gave me, she invited me to church instead, where I fell in love with Jesus. I have had my problems since, but until I left in 1992, she was the best friend a man could ever have, and every time I see her pictures, or remember the sound of her voice, the touch of her kiss on my cheek, the warmth of her hug, I long for those days on the school lawn back. I miss my friend, the best friend I ever had. I came back in 2002 to find her, but her husband told me not to, so I came back to Texas and never plan on going back to Chico because of him. I lost my friend, I miss her, but ou know what, I still have the best gift she ever gave me, and that is Christ Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You all better get the hell out of california before the big quake sinks it into the ocean! HA! Colorado is much more peaceful

It was fantastic to see everybody. I really miss Chico, but I don't miss the heat. I am only sorry I didn't get a chance to talk to more people. The night really seemed to rush by. Just got wind of all this happening just the other day. I doubt that I will be able to make it to the formal reunion but I will try to swing by T.H. on Friday night to see who all shows up.

If anyone wants to get together before Tries Hombres on Friday night, I’ve invited as may people over to my parents house as I have been about to contact. So invite a friend and come on by at 5:30ish and then we can all head down town later. I’ll have the usual beer, wine and sodas, nothing fancy. Wow! I had so much fun at this reunion-weekend I'll be thinking of it often for the next 10 years and maybe for the rest of my life. Everyone looked really good, especially the women, and my voice is still hoarse after talking with so many people. It was also a bit of a nostalgic weekend for me... I missed Chico a lot while I roamed the town. 1-mile, 5-mile, Chico State... I'm home now and I hope everyone else had safe travels too! Is it true that this website is paid up for the next 10 years?
