I'm married and have 2 children. I work part time while my kids are at school so I can keep some adult interaction going in my life. Our kids keep us busy between soccer, softball and swimming. On our down time we do like to spend some quality family time together. We live in the Bay Area so it's very easy to hop in a car and find a place to have some fun. We live in a wonderful suburban neighborhood that always seems to have some sort of activity to keep us busy. We are very involved in the swim team and if you've ever done this you know how involved this can be. We are surrounded by good friends, family, outdoor cooking, good beer and great music. Now that the kids are older my husband and I love catching a concert, a ball game or night out in the city together.
Summarize your life history for the last 20 years:
After high school I went to Humboldt State for 2 years and then came home and went to Chico State. I met my husband Bill in Chico, we've been married for 11 years. We have a son, Tanner (10) and daughter Sydney (8 1/2). I stayed at home once we started having kids. I did some freelance graphic design work and started my own invitation and announcement business. After overwhelming demand from my business and from my babies I decided to step away and focus on our children and the quality of our lives. Before you know it the kids will be grown and out of the house, I don't ever want to feel like I missed anything.
