City: San Diego State/Prov.: California Occupation: Transportation Planner Marital Status: Single Summarize your current situation (family, work, hobbies, etc.): No family as of yet. Working on that one. Work-wise, and the almost since our 10-year reunion, I have been a transportation planner. I've been with the city of San Luis Obispo, an East SF Bay suburban transit operator (where careers go to die), and presently and very happily with the San Diego system. Much of my attention is spent on planning and light rail or train issues. Hobbies: model railroading. Just kidding! Truthfully, a bit of a few things. softball, urban design, home improvements, traveling, history, etc. Summarize your life history for the last 20 years: Like many, I went to college. I started out at Chico State but transferred to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. I recieved a BS in Urban Planning and a grad degree in engineering but with a concentration in transpoortation planning. I'm not an engineer! In all it took about 7 years. While in school, and a bit afterwards, I worked as a barrista and bartender in downtown SLO. Fantasic town! And honestly, doing both those jobs were life changing! I eventually moved on.... working with the city and very quickly became the city's transit manager. Small system, but it was good. I eventually wanted something bigger and better... left for the city, but took a job at a bad place. Ugg. Haven't we all done that at some point. I am now happily in SAN DIEGO and playing with trains. Outside of work... several prospects..., no kids that I know of..., And I haven't found the one. I suppose I have either been too picky, goofed up somehow, or let one get away.
