City: Chico State/Prov.: CA Occupation: Self Employed Medical
Transcriptionist Marital Status: Married No. of Children: 4 Summarize your current situation (family, work, hobbies, etc.): I have been married for 17 years and have four children. My oldest daughter is almost 16 and will be a junior at Chico High this year (Wow, time flies!) Our only son is 13 and our two youngest daughters are 10 and 5. I have a medical transcription business. Between my family, work, church and social life, I'm very busy! I made my stage debut this last June as "Margaret" (the mother) in the play Father Knows Best at Chico Theater Company. It was so much fun! I'm interetsed in opening a horse rescue in the future. Summarize your life history for the last 20 years: After gradutation I attended Ricks College in Idaho for two years. I came home to Chico for the summer after my second year at Ricks and met my husband, Mark. We married in December of 1989. We had our first child, Kiersten, in 1991. We feel extremely fortunate to have been able to stay in Chico after my husband graduated from Chico State and raise our family here. Our second child, Mark, was born in 1994. Courtney was born in 1997, and Kari in 2002. I worked at a law office for 11 years as a legal secretary/office manager before starting my medical transcription business so I could be at home with my children during the day. It's hard to believe 20 years have gone by, sometimes it feels like yesterday when we graduated!
