Summarize your current situation (family, work, hobbies, etc.):
I am married to Bryan and a stay-at-home mom to Kyle (19), Tess (10), Cole (5) and René (3). I have an Ag. Biz degree from CSU, Chico and the only thing I am using it for is to Home School my kid-lets. I live along The Beautiful Columbia River in North-Central Oregon on the Oregon/Washington state border. It's a wonderful place and I feel like I've come home. My current hobbies include Couponing, Sewing, Guinea Pigs (current count is up to 29), I have a pet lover (Tess) in the family. Two of our mommy Guinea Pigs gave birth this past month, one of them last Sat. 3-15, my oldests 19th b-day. That puts the count pet count up to something like 35 of the little critters, I've lost count??? I am a 4-H (Guinea Pig) leader, go figure, and currently I am sewing and altering costumes for our local community theatre group. The play's a comedy "Rough Crossing" and my oldest plays Adam. Thank Heaven that will end on March 22, otherwise I would have to shoot myself. 'Nuff said!! I am active in my church and trying to live a better life (than I did in my 20ties). We are waiting for Kyle to get his mission papers in and LEAVE for 2 years to serve an LDS Mission. Hope that happens soon or I'll have to shoot myself again, that boy is driving me nutso!!! Bryan (the dh) is the Tech. Director for the Region 9 Education Service District which services all the technology (computers) for the schools in Wasco and Hood River Counties. His work brought us to Oregon in 2004. Previously we had holed-up in the "pit-hole" town of Red Bluff (and I am being generous here) for 4 years, oh Joy!!! The best thing that happened to us in that rinky-dink cow town was that my husband re-avtivated in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints and baptized Kyle and I on Kyle's 13th Birthday. Yeah, I've gone religious and it's the best think I've ever did. My kids are great, such personalities in each of them and my greatest joy has been being a mom and a wife. Other hobbies probably include laundry (I do about 4 loads a day), dishes, cleaning the bathroom and picking up lots of toys (love those Lego's) and all your other typical housework. If you don't like it does it count as a hobby?? Anyway, that is what occupies most of my time, overall. I would like to go back to school and get a Master's in Education and be a "real" teacher (like for pay) when I grow up but that's on the back burner for now. I am too busy making and raising humans (of my own). I will post a picture when I get a good one, we're supposed to have some professional photo's done soon. I've kind of let myself go so don't hold your breath but my kids are pretty cute (of course I am biased).
